Marvinet places extreme attention on the process of verifying and guaranteeing the identity and reliability of the participants in its network.
Precisely for this reason we have structured a multi-level company verification process, which allows us to carry out detailed checks on the identity of individuals and on their legitimacy to operate on the platform on behalf of the companies for which they register.
Marvinet’s Verification Levels
Below is a detailed explanation of the various levels of verification present within the Marvinet platform.
The verification levels are designed to be achieved in stages. Each company that registers on the platform is subjected to progressive levels of verification: starting from KYC, moving on to KYB, finally completing with the opening of the Escrow account (Onboarding).
There are no time constraints of any kind to acquire the various levels of verification.
The KYB activity is carried out substantially immediately thanks to automated systems.
The higher levels of verification, which instead require detailed activities carried out by human operators, can each require up to 7 working days to be performed, depending on the complexity of the documentation provided as well as other unpredictable factors.
Personal Identity Verification (KYC)
Verifying the identity of the individual account is the fundamental step that all users participating in the Marvinet platform must carry out in order to be able to access.
The Kyc (Know Your Customer) process is carried out for Marvinet by our partner Veriff Station and has the aim of ascertaining the identity of the individual.
In addition to the identity of the individual, verified using artificial intelligence systems, legal checks are also carried out, comparing the documents sent by the user with over 200 international checklists.

Performing the KYC verification automatically unlocks the following features on the platform:
- Consultative access to the marketplace
- Read access to information from companies participating in the network
However, it is not possible to chat directly on the platform or carry out secure transactions through the escrow system and certified logistics
Business Information Verification (KYB)
Company information verification is the first level of company-related verification that can be obtained internally on the Marvinet platform.
Through this verification procedure, carried out internally on the Marvinet platform, our operators verify the correctness and legitimacy of the company information and thus ensure that the company that registered on the portal is actually the one it claims to be.
Thanks to the verification of company information, it is possible to unlock the following features within the application:
- Creation of offers
- Interaction with users via real-time chat
However, it is not yet possible to carry out secure transactions on the platform.
Escrow account opening (Onboarding)
The opening of the Escrow account represents the highest level of verification that can be obtained internally on the Marvinet platform. Thanks to this level of verification, the company becomes fully operational within the Marvinet platform and can fully benefit from the features offered by Marvinet.
The escrow account opening process is carried out jointly by Marvinet and our Escrow partner. The escrow account opening procedure is configured as a simple documentary integration to the information previously sent during the KYB activity
